I MEAN LAPTOP COMPUTER!!
That's right! My new Lappy 486!
Looking prooty hot! Last week my new G4 Powerbook arrived. I must say that this little honey has totally changed the way I work, and even think about working. This is powerful enough to replace both my G4 tower *and* my G3 laptop, so therefore that's exactly what it's doing. Yep, my trusty G4 tower, the computer which has been the big Choreomedia workhorse for almost three years, is being retired and put into the eBay marketplace, along with my not-so-trusty G3 laptop which has a few problems with its screen and CD drive.
It pains me to say--really--that I am also choosing to sell my prized and cherished 20" flatpanel display.
I LOVE this screen .. but unfortunately, it will not work with my new Powerbook without an expensive cable bridge. And I just can't justify spending more money on this purchase. So I have chosen to let go of the 20" and just live on my new laptop's 15" screen .. which is beautiful, flawless and works just fine for now. Maybe later this year, if I get some big client, I will pop $900 on a new 20" screen that won't need a kludgey cable to work with the laptop. But for now I am just going to enjoy all the extra desktop space this gives me and cash my 20" in on eBay too.
Just wanted to share the love. I haven't tested to see if it will run MULE though .. will definitely report on that (Kristi).
