Un-freakin-believable

The CBS (see-BS) liberals are back in action! I can't honestly believe they still have learned nothing from the whole Dan Rather scandal last year. They are back to twisting the truth into nonsense. This is why you can never trust a reporter!!

Here's a brief recap: CBS interviewed Ken Starr recently. Then they used this quote and made the claim that Starr was talking about the Republicans' use of the "congressional option" to end the Democrats' filibuster in the Senate:

This is a radical, radical departure from our history and from our traditions, and it amounts to an assault on the judicial branch of government. It may prove to have the kind of long-term boomerang effect, damage on the institution of the Senate that thoughtful senators may come to regret.

Listened to Rush on Wednesday, and man, was he mad at Starr. He ripped him up one way and down the next. He was on the verge of snapping altogether a la Casey Kasem. And I could certainly see why .. I didn't understand why Starr was so bizarrely wrong about this issue either.

Why? Because he's not! After Wednesday's show he emailed Rush the full transcript of his interview with CBS, and it turns out CBS took his quote completely out of context and made it seem like he was totally against something he's not against at all! He was talking about the Democrats' practice of voting on judges based on the ideologies of the judge! What CBS did is patently insincere, disingenuous and just plain low. I feel really bad for Ken Starr, a man of enormous integrity who has been constantly bashed and tarred by the media and idiot liberals in this society, who had to listen to Rush Limbaugh Wednesday get suckered by the lying liberal press and play right into their hands, bashing and slamming him right along with the rest of the media. How much can a guy take?

And as for reporters .. always, always take your own recorder into an interview and make sure it's running whenever theirs is. I myself have been screwed by a TV-reporter and I refuse to be put into that position ever again, if I can help it. I hope CBS gets nailed for this, hard. FOX, where are you? Sean Hannity? Laura Ingrahm? Can we not let them sweep this one under the rug please?
