In 2001, I left Vangel Associates after four years there, and started a business called Choreomedia (choreography of media). Choreomedia was primarily a Web design business at first, but as I was experienced in advertising design and brand development, these services were also on offer.
The Choreomedia Web site was central to my company’s promotion. At the time, I was writing a regular technology column for the Columbia Business Times, which I would reprint and archive at Choreomedia.com. The site served as an online portfolio and also featured client testimonials, news about client site launches and information regarding services and rates. The site also featured a secure (well, password-protected) login for clients to review the progress of ongoing projects.
The Choreomedia Web site won Best of Show at the 2002 ADDY Awards in central Missouri, the first ever such award presented in the newly established Interactive category.
